RECRUITMENT INFORMATION FOR MOMS

Moms –

We know it often gets left up to you to determine what to do and how to get it done! So, here are a few ways you can help your daughter through sorority recruitment.

  • Know the deadlines and help your daughter make sure her information is submitted in a timely manner.

  • Find family, friends, neighbors, co-workers, church or other activities members that are sorority members. Have your daughter ask them to write recommendations.  Be sure to have your daughter write a thank you note to all her recommendation writers!

  • Help with resume and pictures – to be turned in by the sorority specific deadline!

  • Ensure your daughter has registered with PRAP (link here) and her University’s Panhellenic office!

  • Ask questions! Call or email the University Panhellenic office for information specific to your university. Reference Chairmen and Alumnae will be able to answer specific questions about their individual organizations.  Once your daughter registered with PRAP she will receive a listing of reference chairmen to assist you.

  • PRAP offers PNM and collegiate sorority women scholarships so be sure to check out our scholarships page for more information.

  • Expect a lot of stress during Recruitment Week.  It is ok to be there on bid day to support your daughter during this exciting time!
