Scholarship Recipients 2024

Plano-Richardson Alumnae Panhellenic (PRAP) announced the award of thirteen scholarships to North Texas young women at the organization’s year-end meeting on May 15, 2024.  This year’s active collegiate recipients are Mallory Baronoskie, Riley Dyke, Victoria Hathaway, Josie Howell, Lauren Jarrell, Kylee Schwartz, Anne-Claire Weaver, and Erin Wiseman. This year's high school recipients are Katelyn Austin, Parker Brizzolara, Emery Glickler, Avery Northam, and Kate Smith. 

 

Mallory Baronoskie is a junior at the University of Oklahoma where she is majoring in Health and Exercise Sciences. She is a member of Pi Beta Phi and has been active with OU Dance Marathon and OU Big Event. Mallory graduated from Lake Highlands High School and she is the daughter of Lindsay and Alan Baronoskie.

 

Riley Dyke is a junior at the University of Texas at Austin where she is studying  Exercise Science. She is a member of Delta Delta Delta where she currently serves her chapter as Vice President of Membership Experience. Riley is a graduate of Richardson High School and she is the daughter of Paige and Joel Dyke.

 

Victoria Hathaway is a sophomore at Purdue University where she is studying Professional Flight Technology. She is member of Pi Beta Phi where she has enjoyed volunteering with their philanthropy, Pi Phi Loves Reading. Victoria is a graduate of Plano West Senior High School and she is the daughter of Kathy and Chris Hathaway.

 

Josie Howell is a sophomore at the University of Texas at Austin where she is majoring in Biomedical Engineering. She is a member of Chi Omega where she serves on the Career and Personal Development Committee. Josie is a graduate of Lake Highlands High School and she is the daughter of Anne and Thomas Howell.

 

Lauren Jarrell is a senior at the University of Alabama where she is a Dance major. She is a member of Chi Omega and has served as the chapter Homecoming Dance Team Choreographer.  Lauren is a graduate of Lake Highlands High School and she is the daughter of Heather and Jim Jarrell.

 

Kylee Schwartz is a senior at Baylor University pursuing a degree in Social Work. She is a member of Delta Delta Delta Sorority where she holds the position of Director of Risk Management and Wellness. Kylee is a graduate of Plano Senior High School and she is the daughter of Kristi and David Schwartz.

 

Anne-Claire Weaver is a senior at University of Oklahoma where she is majoring in Psychology with a minor in Elections and Campaign Management. She is the Alumnae Relations Chair of Gamma Phi Beta. Anne-Claire graduated from Plano Senior High School and she is the daughter of Carrie and Paul Weaver.

 

Erin Wiseman is a senior at the University of Alabama where she is studying Accounting. She is a member of Alpha Omicron Pi where she has held several leadership positions during her tenure, most recently Vice President of Community Relations. Erin is a graduate of Plano Senior High School and she is the daughter of Lori and Lynn Wiseman.

 

Katelyn Austin will attend the University of Oklahoma where she will study to become a Speech Pathologist. She is a 2024 graduate from Lake Highlands High School and she is the daughter of Karen and Matt Austin.

 

Parker Brizzolara will attend Texas A&M where she will study to become a Physical Therapist. She is a 2024 graduate from Lake Highlands High School and she is the daughter of Kelli and Jeff Brizzolara.

 

Emery Glickler will attend Auburn University where she plans to study Marketing and Psychology. She is a 2024 graduate of Plano West Senior High School and she is the daughter of Melanie and Andrew Glickler.

 

Avery Northam will attend the University of Georgia where she will major in Psychology. She is a 2024 graduate of Lake Highlands High School and she is the daughter of Tricia and Joshua Northam.

 

Kate Smith will attend Texas A&M where she plans to study Engineering. She is a 2024 graduate of Lake Highlands High School and she is the daughter of Amy and Grant Smith.

The applications are judged based on extracurricular involvement, leadership, community service, personal goals, and academic performance.  “Each year we are overwhelmed by the accomplishments of the young women who apply, and we’re extremely proud of the 2024 scholarship recipients,” said Melissa Fairley, Scholarship Committee Chair.

 

“PRAP has been dedicated to providing scholarship opportunities through our fundraising efforts,” said President, Kimberly Zinser.  “We are thrilled to support the educational dreams and Greek life involvement of these deserving young women.”
